Stars of the Bobo balafon

Check out this video that the gorgeous Freya Manning sent to us filmed in Maison de Jeune in Mali. This was made by a friend of her and Bassidi’s and no surprise that Bassidi’s family are the stars with some incredible insights into the Bobo Balafon and its place in their culture. It is part of an incredible project called Instruments4Africa working to save endangered musical traditions and create reconciliation in Mali.
