This year we celebrated Harmony Week with Green Leaves Early Learning Centre in Carindale with a Drum Sing Dance Incursion for all of their children.
Harmony Week celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone. It’s an opportunity to expand our horizons as Australians and learn something different about another culture. Diversity makes the world go round. Cultures and individual uniqueness is something we should celebrate daily!
It’s not our first time visiting one of the Green Leaves Early Learning Centres and we had a great time with the children. Sharing African culture with these little ones is always a treat and Harmony Week just made it that little bit more special. The children were excited. Learning about another culture is easy for kids. Their wide eyes and excitable expressions make our job too much fun. How can you not get excited with these faces!!??
