Last night, when the rain poured African dancing…

Last night whilst the rain poured and the thunder cracked our Tuesday night drum and dance co-op sweated, laughed and grooved! It was the best night yet and although we were down on numbers due to the weather… it was a beautiful night.  Kids played and danced, drummers played a new rhythm to match our dance and the dancers got a great workout.  Our warm up routine was filled with old and new moves and we kept moving forward with our Soboninkim dance routine which we originally learnt from Epizo’s workshops in Maleny. We will be going through this rhythm again for everyone  next week and then we will push forward with something new the following week. A reminder to all our drummers from all classes that you are welcome to come and join us on Tuesday evening for the co-op 7.30-8.30pm in Palmwoods. Lovers of dance come boogey with us!
