Whats on community events – Sunshine Coast
“RANDOM ACT OF RHYTHM” has been created for your drumming, dance and musical enjoyment, Sundays, 3pm to sunset at Moffat beach, (Caloundra) weather permitting. It is proposed that this will be a weekly ongoing event.
Event message – Hello beautiful people! Let’s create a Sunset Groove at Moffat Beach, on the grass just before the headland next to the Sandstone Fins.
Let’s play music with our wonderful hands and dance with our flintstone feet; enjoying the company of our friends, family, the nature, the waves and sun for free!!
So bring your drum, didgeridoo, guitar, harmonica, particularly any kind of percussion instrument, shakers, tamborine (whatever you want!) fire sticks and pois (if you do the fire dancing of course).
And of course if you haven’t learnt to play anything, then just come anyway and enjoy a chilled and fun afternoon/ early evening. If we start early at around 2 or 3pm then that means we can finish at sunset and not annoy anybody living nearby late at night.
BYO food, beverages, chairs, picnic blankets, instruments– everything you feel you may need.
