It’s that time of year to book school and vacation care incursions for schools, vacation care centres and kindergartens. It is time to plan your 2023 incursions and start looking ahead at future dates for upcoming school events. We have a few tips to help your booking with us smooth, simple and organised.
Things we will need:
Chairs for all participants unless Kindy or Early Child Care ages
An undercover space that can fit the chairs in a large circle. It’s super hot. (Students enjoy incursions and can focus more when they are comfortable)
We love it when groups are preferably indoors and with a load in bay or easy access. (We have lots of heavy drums!). If outdoor consider distractions when choosing your location. Nearby roads, maintenance workers and other classes can be a distraction.
Teachers join in the fun!! We love it when you get involved and the students love it too!
Drum Sing Dance Incursion Tips:
We run all different group sizes. The length and number of sessions depend on the age of the children. For younger children we do shorter sessions. Incursion content depends on the age of the students/children also. We change what we do to suit your group. Don’t hesitate to ask!
Get excited! Our sessions are high energy and totally engaging.
We have two booking blocks a day. Morning and afternoon. This obviously depends on availability. Be sure to get in early for 2023. Bookings are filling fast and many schools have booked out both morning and afternoon sessions due to the large number of students in schools compared to kindergartens.
