Where: Noosa North Shore Retreat

Sleep: Shared, spacious two bedroom apartment accommodation with kitchen, lounge room and two bathrooms, which sleep approximately 6 people per apartment. We have also added accommodation options for this years drum camp and dance camp and so if you are wanting to share with your partner, spouse, or bestie then you can. We have also added a 1 person option for those wanting there own room.  Every apartment has its own kitchen. Bedding is included, however we recommend that you bring your own bedding including pillow, doona or sleeping bag for extra warmth if you feel the cold. Every effort will be made so that friends or groups will be in apartments together, and that people with 1 person or 2 person accommodation options will be in apartments where the other room has the same option. However, while every effort will be made we cannot guarantee this. Camping options are also available this year and if you would like to camp at this years Camp Afro Foli drum camp and dance camp then please select the no accommodation option. The apartments surround a communal area and fenced pool.

Eat: This is a self – catered event. Every apartment has its own kitchen with the basics including gas cook tops and oven. There is an outdoor BBQ area next to the pool with 4 BBQS to cook on. Please bring your own food and there will be a shared BBQ on the Friday night for those who would like too. There is a bistro and bar onsite for meals, snacks and drinks.

Drinks: You can BYO to this event and there is also an onsite bar and bistro open throughout the camp. Please be respectful and drink responsibly.

There will be lots of workshops and an artist performance on the Saturday night.

Three days of movement, fun, cultural workshops and performances, with international artists bringing Africa to the Sunshine Coast.

Enjoy beautiful beach surroundings, world class talent and be immersed in West African culture with workshops in djembe, dancing, dundun drumming, and dundun dancing. Loads of action to choose from and the promised gift of rhythm for your hands and feet.
