It was such a joy to visit Little Cherubs again last week at Banora Point. This time we were celebrating Harmony week with Little Cherubs ELC. Drumming, singing and dancing set the scene. The children were excited and engaged.
Sharing African culture is always special at this time of year. All of our artists around Australia are busy, busy, busy this week sharing their love of African drum and dance to students everywhere. It’s out favorite time of the year as children are always prepped for our visit and ready to learn about African culture. Centres can make instruments, learn how to say hello and goodbye in another language and sing a song to help educate children about Harmony Week. There are so many activities that educators can engage children in. You can find more information on discussion and activities here.
Harmony week is about coming together and celebrating diversity and cultures from all over the world. Councils and organisations all around Australia are doing their bit to highlight this special event. Get involved and visit a local event that is celebrating Harmony Week. You may find something very special!
Thanks for having us to celebrate Harmony Week with Little Cherubs ELC!
