Farewell Yenenesh! We will miss you!

On the weekend we attended Yenenesh’s Farewell concert at BEMAC in Brisbane. The show was an absolute delight with a range of different dance genres (mostly African) and of course drumming including the Indian Tablas. So many people gathered to celebrate Yenenesh and the work she has done within the community and Yenenesh herself performed in almost every act! How she remembered so many choreographed pieces is beyond us! So, sadly Yenenesh leaves the country in a few days to embark on a new exciting journey around the world and although she will be sadly missed by us, we wish her the most fabulous and safe trip. We hope she returns soon! Thank you for everything Yenenesh Nigusse!
