Epizo Bangoura workshops and Concert Highlights

Wow! We had such an amazing weekend of drum and dance workshops with Epizo Bangoura at the Maleny Community Centre hosted by Natalie and Pascale Richy from Upbeat Rhythms. It was great to see a few familiar faces there from our classes, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. The concert was excellent with Epizo playing kora, drumming and dancing. Other awesome acts included the PolyBot, Sweet Chillie Choir, the incredible duo of two young girls pumping out moves like we have never seen before! These two are sure to make it big! and also Obi Abata with Yayoi Morris dancing! Nathaniel also played a set for the concert on djembe, dundun and balaphon. If you missed it this year be sure to get on board next year, you won’t regret it!
