In the class we are learning about rhythm, culture, timing, breaks, call and response exercises all through play. These classes will explore African rhythms on the hand drum, the Djembe and will exercise coordination, memory, timing and most importantly will be loaded with fun and creative musical challenges which will encourage your children to just enjoy and relax into rhythm.
Great class for kids that have an interest in drumming, have loads of energy and enjoy making fun with music. It is a music class without sheet music and with practical, hands on exercises to give children the opportunity to explore sound, patterns, tempo, breaks and even voice! A cultural and colourful music class for both boys and girls. Every child will have their own drum to play and enrol for the 4 week course and receive a discounted rate! Further discounts available for siblings too. No drum hire fees apply for kids classes.
