Winter classes also feel the cold and await the dawn of spring……
It’s the time again…cold, short days and early nights. It’s definitely a time for contemplation and hibernation and our drumming classes always feel the cold at this time of year, less people venture out and less people are looking for something NEW to do. But we keep going and await the dawn of spring to ripen our ideas and restore our much loved passion of bringing music to the Sunshine Coast. I guess it’s like most things in life, there is always a pause and then a resurgence of new and exciting energy. Today the sun is shining and there is a taste of spring in the air, perhaps even a touch of nostalgia? Have you experienced seasonal nostalgia? When a hint of natures fragrance floats past your nose, or a kiss of sun heats up your back and a sensation fills your entire body that takes you….somewhere else. It’s almost like a memory that you can’t quite place your finger on….I like the idea of moving my body through all seasons of the year…keeps me awake, active and happy, I guess there is others that also feel like this and this is why all winter classes just keep going. Yay! 🙂
