EASTER eggs turned into music
shakers when Rhythm Culture hosted a
kids’ dance, sing and drumming
workshop at Palmwoods’ Girl Guides
hut on April 15.
The participants brought their
home-made shakers to the fun
workshop hosted by Nathaniel Combs.
The best shakers won prizes.
During the workshop, Nathaniel took
the parents and kids on a fun journey to
Africa. They had lots of laughs as they
travelled to Africa on planes, trains,
trucks and submarines and when they
got there, they imitated their favourite
African animals. Along the way,
Nathaniel taught the troupe drumming,
and dance techniques and plenty of
African words.
