Its hot, dry and well time to book ya booty in!

It’s hot, dry, and windy. I can’t swim in the beach because of the sharks, crocodiles and stingers. Steamed vegies, salad, mash and chips in various combinations is all that’s on the menu – for a vego. Where am I? Well, halfway through a Drum Sing Dance Tour in Central Queensland sharing the joy and culture of West Africa with the regional communities here. The heat and dry I love, reminds me of Africa. The food on the other hand has room for improvement.

The workshops have been great fun and it’s incredible how quickly kids pick up on new rhythms, songs and languages and the good vibes and smiling faces music brings, not to mention all the educational, social, and emotional benefits.

So its been days running workshops and nights getting ready for Naby Bangoura to come and dance your/our socks (or whatever else your wearing) off. Check out the flyer below for details and book ya booty in!
