Free drum and dance days

This year we will once again be pounding the streets in Maroochydore with all of our drummers and of course our dancing feet! On Sunday March 27th The streets of Maroochydore will come alive for the Ocean St World Music Festival and we will be there in full action making sure everyone gets a taste of West African drumming and dancing. There will be great food, lots of live local music and of course our students drumming up a storm. (cancel the storm part) We are asking that all students put this date in your diary. Nathaniel will run the drumming students jam and Pascale will also have her students perform the latest rhythms they have been doing class. There will also be a performance by the Muso Foli Dance Troupe. Wear bright colorful clothing and if you havn’t had a chance to join our classes this year, come and and join in on the fun. Don’t miss this years FESTURI Festival on March 20th, there will be loads of free entertainment from cultures all around the word. How lucky are we to have so many cultural festivals on the Sunshine Coast! Yay, well Festuri is definitely one of our favorites and we will be there in sweet drumming action.
