Feel the Energy with NABY BANGOURA on November 14th and 15th! Mark these days in your calendar. We are jumping out of our skins in anticipation of Naby Bangoura’s arrival. For those of you who haven’t heard of him, Naby is a Guinean dancer who started dancing professionally with Les Merveilles de Guinée when he was 15. He now lives in Berkeley, San Fran and teaches at the immensely-popular Camp Fareta in California. He will be with us for a riveting performance and a full day of workshops in November!
More great news: We are so delighted to have partnered with the funky people at Nambour’s Nook and Cranny to host this incredible Guinean dancer. Their workshop space is intimate and made for this type of event! If you are passionate about African music and dance don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to book your spot and learn from one of the world’s best. His dynamic skills and soaring spirit have established his dance class as a high-energy and joyful experience. The Saturday night we will be performing with Naby and on Sunday, we will enjoy a day of dance workshops with him and African drumming workshops with Nathaniel. We can’t wait!!
