Rhythm Culture provides workshops for people of all abilities. Musical workshops benefit community groups and individuals from all different backgrounds. We firmly believe in the philosophy of “see the person not the disability”, and we strive for full participation in every workshop that we do. The nature of West African drumming creates an environment in which individuals become connected and interact with one another in a creative and musical way. Rhythm Culture facilitates this exchange and shared experience that everyone is participating in and we have had an outstanding response from communities that engage in these programs.
“I have received a lot of great feedback about Nathaniel’s workshop and performance and I am happy to say that this activity was ranked the most enjoyable from all of our participants.” – Crystal Heffron BPsyc Sci, Service Coordinator, Mental Illness Fellowship Queensland
