Community is our intention

Hope you have all had a fabulous start to the 2016. This year we have loads of drum and dance fun planned including local free workshops at festivals around the Sunshine Coast and we also have a few special international guests coming to the Sunshine Coast. This month we have released the dates for one of our favorites, and you will have to stay tuned next month to hear about what else we have coming your way!

So far, this year has kicked off to be super fabulous, drums are flying out the door (to the point that we keep selling out!) and the classes have been jam packed with lots of new and old familiar faces. The DRUM SING DANCE workshops are spreading around the South East QLD at an amazing speed, with so many kindergartens already booked in for 2016.

Our intention for 2016 is community. We have spent the past 4 years growing the drum and dance community here on the Sunshine Coast and when we see the community vibe on a Tuesday night at the Palmwoods Memorial Hall, it still blows us away. We love seeing you all meet and get to know one another and we especially love this being centered around African music and rhythm. If we could drum and dance on the street, we would! For now, the hall is where it’s at, so come and join us this Tuesday for a brand new rhythm for both drum and dance classes. You won’t be disappointed and after the 5 weeks, Palmwoods Memorial hall on a Tuesday night might just be one of your favorite places too!.

This school holidays the Lake Kawana Community Centre will be running DRUM SING DANCE workshops for kids you can buy tickets and find all of the information here.
